OEM Battery Programs

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) means Dingwei Battery manufactures batteries to your specification, branded with your company's identity. This is distinct from buying off-the-shelf batteries.

How OEM Manufacturing Works

  1. Specification — you define the battery's electrical, dimensional, and branding requirements
  2. Sampling — the manufacturer produces pre-production samples for your approval
  3. Testing — samples are verified against your specification (CCA, capacity, dimensions)
  4. Production — mass production runs to the approved specification
  5. Quality — batch testing and documentation throughout

What You Specify

  • Group size and standard (JIS, DIN, BCI, SAE)
  • Voltage and CCA requirements
  • Capacity (Ah) and reserve capacity
  • Terminal type and polarity
  • Case dimensions and hold-down
  • Branding (labels, colors, packaging)

OEM vs ODM vs Private Label

  • OEM — you provide the specification; the manufacturer builds to it
  • ODM — the manufacturer offers existing designs you can brand
  • Private Label — you apply your brand to a manufacturer's product

See Private Label Guide and MOQ & Lead Time for program specifics.
